We plan to take a racing dinghy together with some club promotional and publicity material. The event is scheduled to run from 10:00 to 16:00 and could provide an outstanding informational and recruitment opportunity for AQSC. If your in the Richmond area that day why not come and see us?
Also at 2:05pm the 22 mile Great River Race to Greenwich starts from Richmond with around 300 craft taking part.

Kids on the Pico in Bush Park
As part of Richmond Council's continuing effort to champion sustainable transport, boost the environment and encourage a healthier lifestyle, Richmond Council is currently organising two free community festivals in September. One at Richmond and the other at Barnes.
AQSC has been invited to exhibit at the festival being held on Richmond Green on 13 September 2008. In format this will be similar to the event we attended six years ago in Bushy Park, which turned out to be very successful.
