Galley Refurbishment Updated  22Oct10

Members will have noticed some changes to the galley area in the last couple of weeks as a result of Bodgit & Associates' activities.

This is all part of a major refurbishment of the Club's kitchen facilities made possible by a grant of £1300 from the Government's Grassroots scheme and a second one for £3350 from the Hampton Fuel Allotments Charity.

Major features of the refurbishment are lowering the floor to the same level as the Clubroom and opening up the kitchen area, a new hot water system, commercial dishwasher, hot cupboard/bain marie and new cooker together with new work surfaces, storage units and ventilation system.

The present kitchen is temporary to allow us to get used to the new layout and then make informed decisions about final details of the new equipment.

Please pass comments/suggestions to any member of the committee.
