Mrs. R. F. "Mackie" McCoy

We regret to announce the death of Mrs."Mackie" McCoy.

She and her husband, ‘Mac’, were founder members of the club and worked very hard to establish the club as a friendly and successful venue.

Whilst her husband was the boat builder and carpenter, "Mackie " was the organiser and general helpmate and developed the social side of the club.

In retirement to Christchurch she became very involved in the support of the local RNLI.

Many of the older members of the club will remember her with great affection and our thoughts are with her family Richard and Janet.

Her funeral will take place on Wednesday 18th April 2012 at 1.15pm at Bournemouth Crematorium, Strouden Avenue, Charminster , Bournemouth, Dorset, BH8 9HX, Tel. 01202 526238

‘Mackie’ and ‘Mac’ McCoy at retirement from AQSC in 1983 when they moved to the Hampshire coast
