AQSC Regatta 15-16 June 2019
Saturday was a fine day with a SW force 1-2 gust 3 (8 mph gust 18) wind BUT very shifty variable and slamming.

The Saturday morning race (column F01) didn't count for a trophy and the afternoon was two of the four races for the Regatta Trophy (best two to count). Mike Baker capsized in the last race.

The day finished with a delicious early supper for 12 members prepared by Deborah Lea.

Sunday conditions were very similar to Saturday but less slamming and some light rain with a maximum of 22mph. The two Sunday morning races were the last two Regatta Trophy races. Mike Baker capsized in the second race. The first afternoon race was the Ladies/Novice Race (column LN5). After the novelty event  involving picking balls up from the patrol boat and placing them in buckets on the marks there was the traditional strawberry cream tea; thanks to the ladies who prepared the food and Pat Irving for BBQ bergers both days.

The Trophies were awarded for PH results. Graham Thompson won the Regatta Trophy.
Jean Maracchi with Brenda Lavery was the only Lady helm so won the Ladies cup and Alastair Gray was the only novice so won the Novice cup.
All Trophies go to Personal Handicap (PH) results
