16 December Members are invited for Christmas nibbles at the clubhouse. Succulent savouries and sweet treats will be supplied grartis by Bodgit and Co whilst Mike Hendra will prop up the bar for the use of "Alcoholics Unanimous" and other thirsty imbibers. On Saturday 28 November at 7:30pm there is the important AGM, prize giving and End of Season Party. Notice, details and nominations as a PDF file.

Saturday 14 November - There is a working party (moved from 24 October) including a late lunch for the workers. Come along with gardening tools and gloves.

Monday 9 November - There is a committee meeting.

On Saturday 31 October there is a spectacular Rusian Night at 7pm. Russian Cuisine. Prize for best costume. Places are limited so book early. Cost £10 (£5 for 15 year olds and under). To book ring Diana Carpenter on 020 8393 8029 by 29 October.

On Friday 16 October 2015 the Annual Dinner will be at IL CAPRICCIO, 43-47 High Street, EWELL ViILLAGE, KT17 1RX; at 7:15 for 7:30pm. Please note this event is limited to 40 persons so bookings will be on a first come, first served basis and payment is required to secure tickets for a 3 course dinner and wine. £27.00 (£25.00 for bookings paid for by 4th October). On Saturday 19 September 2015 at 7:30pm. Aquarius is going out west and holding a Cowboy (and Cowgirl) Theme Night. So dust off your Stetsons, get dressed up and visit with us at the Aquarius ranch for an evening of down home western hospitality. Diana and her gang of galley desperado’s will be serving a Campfire Stew with chunks of bread followed by Mamma’s Apple Crumble. The cost is a mere £5.00 per head. On Saturday 12 September Aquarius SC is hosting the Mid-Thames Trophy (MTT) Regatta, an inter-club (AQSC, DSC, HSC, LSC, SSC) fun event; first start at 11:30. Notice of Race (NOR), Sailing Instructions, Club Handicap Numbers.  For visitors Club details and location. Even if you are not sailing (many boats so not suitable for novice helm) we would like to see as many members as possible at the club. Apart from supporting our team there will be a number of activities to be undertaken ashore to ensure that this event runs smoothly and your help would be greatly appreciated. LightBoxEnhanced

Unfortunately, due to problems at BVSC, the visit scheduled for Saturday 29 August to Monday has been CANCELLED. Instead we will sail at Aquarius on Sunday 30 August. We encourage everybody, especially recent new members, to come down. There will be safety boat cover, training, any racing will be for the Fun/TFC series, the bar will be open and there will be burgers lunch time, or you could bring you own and have a family DIY BBQ by the river. What could be nicer.

On Saturday 15 August from 6pm there is a BBQ, BYO or buy from bar, followed by a trip to Sunbury Regatta Illuminated Sail Past & Fireworks. Bring your own supper to BBQ or purchase burgers, sausages etc. from the Bar. Friends welcome. At 20.15 the patrol boats will leave the Club for Sunbury lock to view the illuminated sail past and fireworks, returning at approximately 22.30. Spaces in the patrol boats will be allocated on a first come-first served basis by signing up on the notice at the AQSC Bar or by ring Richard on 01932 786636.

On Saturday 18 July at 19:30 there is the Annual Hog Roast limited to 80 persons. Book by 11 July. Details and Booking form.

Mid -Summer Cruise This annual event to the Weir Hotel at Walton is on the evening of Wednesday 24 June. Boats will depart from the club at 6:00pm. Sail or motor through Sunbury Lock for a meal at the Weir Hotel returning before nightfall. Contact Richard Cannon ( or 01932 786636) if you would like a place in a motor boat. Note: Anyone planning to come by road should be aware that the Weir Hotel stops taking food orders at 9:00pm. Mike Baker (AQSC VC Programme)

On Sunday 21 June no serious racing is scheduled so fun activities have been aranged including Pico and Laser events; bring spare clothes. Details.

On Saturday 13 June & Sunday 14 June there is the Aquarius Regatta. Racing from 11:30 a.m. Details.

On Saturday 6 June the club have a stand and the Club Graduate at the Molesey Carnival where we will also be looking for help to man it.

Sunday 10 May Chestnut Sunday in Bushy Park; the AQSC Graduate will be on display to promote the Club and help is needed. Details
Saturday 9 May Working party 10:30am with a free lunch. Come along with gardening tools and clothes. Details.This is quite an important date. We have to prepare the club Graduate to go to the Chestnut Sunday event in Bushy Park the following day. We need to clean up the club and grounds for our Open Weekend. There’s a lot of weeding to be done, grass to be mowed, windows to be washed and the club needs generally tidying up for our visitors. We would appreciate as many of you as possible to come down on the 9th and get stuck in.

On Sunday 29 March Start of the new season Sailing. Don’t forget British Summer Time starts and the clocks go forward an hour. Details

On Saturday 21 March at 7:30pm there is this years’ Start of Season Party which will be held in the clubhouse. A buffet supper will be provided. So come along and help us get the season of to a flying start.

On Sunday March 15 there is a working party from 10:30am. Come along with gardening tools and clothes. A late lunch will be provided.

On Sunday 1st March a frostbite cruise & lunch. Join us for a cruise starting at 11.30 am followed by lunch at 1.30 for 2.00 pm).The idea is to take cruisers, bigger dinghies, canoes and the patrol boat with each boat seeking answers to treasure-hunt type questions; a sort of water-based car rally. If conditions are not suitable then we will organize other activities in the clubhouse, like an optional quiz from 12:00 with answers after lunch. The games equipment will also be available. Lunch must be booked in advance either by ringing Deborah Lea on 020 8979 3131 or signing up on the booking sheet at the club by wed 25 February at the latest. Please let Deborah know if you want the vegetarian option. £5.00/Adult (£2.50/Child)
Menu - artisan bread + marinated olives, shepherd’s pie (vegetarian option) seasonal vegetables. Key lime pie with cream or crème fraiche.

On Sunday 25 January a number of members are not available and there won't be a Duty Officer, BBQ, tea or cakes.

On Saturday 24 January - Burns Night Celebration, Haggis Tatties and Neeps from 7:30pm. Booking by 21 January needed; details

On Sunday 11 January there will be a lunch time BBQ with tea and cakes later. It should be dry with a 15 mph West wind. But there is a yellow board stream increasing warning so it is very unlikely that there will be sailing; come for a natter and socialise.

On Thursday 1 January start 2015 with a New Years Day Sail and social meet from 11.00am. Pot luck lunch; there should be BBQ, tea and cake. The weather forecast is looking reasonable. Hope to see you.

The scheduled Sailing Season has ended BUT if conditions are suitable there will still be Duty Officers and sailing, BBQ with burgers, tea and cakes.
