Farewell to Maggie

Aquarius SC members came from all over to support Mike and the family at Maggie's funeral on Friday 7 May which was held at Hanworth Crematorium.

The chapel was filled to capacity with Maggie's family and friends. The service, although very sad and emotional, was also full of happy memories of Maggie's life.

After the service everybody gathered outside to talk to the family against a backdrop of flowers and wreaths. Amongst them a flower spray sent on behalf of all the members of Aquarius SC.

Afterwards we went to Brinsworth House in Twickenham, where Maggie used to work. This is a retirement home for actors and actresses which had offered to host a reception.

The rest of the afternoon was spent chatting with friends and enjoying the buffet that Mike had kindly arranged.

Maggie may no longer be with us but she will remain in our thoughts for a long time to come.
