Next to go was the chicken with vegetables and potatoes au gratin, half way through this there was my husband Keith resembling Zorro causing a commotion at the far end of the table when he lost his beard, was it in the vegetables or did it go on to the floor ?, Lyn went to his aide and found it by his chair, but unfortunately he lost it again, only to find it stuck to the bottom of his shoe, I can’t take him anywhere. Marks out of ten for the second entry nine, nil pts for Keith’s performance.
    Lets take a break and have some entertainment. The moment had come for the ladies to be serenaded by the magic of Pat with his violin and Michael on the piano, what a wonderful performance, superb, fantissimo, ten plus for a first class act.
    Next on was ballet Bodgit, have you ever seen two sugar plum fairies gone wrong, they bought the house down. Entrance was by their very own gondola M.S.Bodgit, and the outfits had to be seen to be believed, they were great!
    Can we have a repeat performance please, marks out of ten- ten plus joint first place, but one point added for costume design.
    And so we come to the end of the evening, and what an evening we had, thank you one and all for all the hard work, wonderful meal, and great entertainment. We will never forget it.
