Pre MTT Work Party

Just a word of thanks to all those who made the effort and joined the club work party on Saturday 23 April. Although being on the same day as the skittles night and just prior to the MTT some twenty-one people turned-up and set about clearing up the exterior of the club.

I think we had three strimmers working on the grass areas and the trailer park. The jet-wash cleaned up the water front. Every piece of glass in the place was washed and polished. Diane and Linda provided a much appreciated lunch and by mid afternoon the club looked great and ready for the MTT.

Thanks again to Pete & Diana Carpenter, John Neale, Richard Cannon, Tony Adcock, Nigel Knowles, Stuart Schafer, Eric Bridgewater, George Bray, Graham Thompson, Liz Archer, David Grigg, Joan, Gordon, Phil & Cathy Courtney, Laurie Bridges, Brian Clements and Rodger & Linda Wheeler. Great job guys!

Notice to Club Photographers

I've decided that what the new foyer area needs are some really good photographs, probably A4 size or larger to put on the walls. They need to be dinghy sailing related.

They can be taken at the club or at away venues such as Bewl Water. They should feature AQSC dinghies and members; be action pictures rather than static pictures; and can be colour or black and white. So if you have a digital, 35mm or a box brownie get snapping. Your reward is the honour of having your picture(s) displayed in the entrance to the club.
