Problem with pop up menus; only use menus in this column

On Saturday 23 August Richard Cannon with Signet ST368 and Rodger Wheeler with Bosun 485 arrived at Bewl Valley SC too late to sail Saturday; Mike & Jean Hendra, and Don & Helen Barnett had arrived on Friday.

Regatta handicap racing was on Sunday but there was very little wind so the start was delayed. There was a bit more wind in the afternoon 6 to 10 mph so a better sail. Richard and Mike were very surprised that they were 3rd in the 1st race, 1st in the last, and 2nd overall; Rodger and Jean were 4th in the last race. After racing Roger had a long cruise.

Monday was family sailing but it was very cold and rained all day; apart from a RYA course there was only one boat out. Eight more AQSC members intended to come Monday but they were sensible and cancelled. Although conditions were very bad we still enjoyed the visit; it helps a lot being part of a group.
