The web site continues to be primarily an additional communication channel for members. One of our Open Day visitors, who joined on the day, found out about our open day from the link on the RYA site.

During the winter months there was less frequent updating of the Web Site but now we are in the active sailing season it is normally updated at least weekly. The aim is to post the results of the Sunday racing on Sunday evening. The race results in the Clubhouse are a print out of the pages on the web site.

The Duty Roster on the web site is the master and is kept up to date with changes.

There is now a For Sale and Wanted page and members should let me have details of any items they would like posted on it. Any items on the web site can also be put in the newsletter.

E-mail is also very useful for passing information about events to members; nearly half our members have access to E-mail.
