Further Financial Problems

The Management Committee have asked me to draw your attention to the question of writing cheques made out to the club.

Due to a recent incident where an over zealous bank manager refused a cheque made payable to "Aquarius S.C." I have to emphasize that it is very important that cheques are made out only to "Aquarius Sailing Club". This, I am assured, will make our bank manager a very happy bunny and has nothing to do with the banks intent to do away with cheques altogether sometime in the future. What happens then God knows!

The Management Committee have also asked me to stress the importance of taking away any of your food stuffs (including your food related rubbish) from the club at the end of the day. Some of our furry friends have been back in the club again and they like nothing better than nibbles left lying around or waste bins full of food waste. So remember, you bring it, you take away the rubbish.
