Rigging

With the start of the new sailing season one point that is worth thinking about is rigging, we have had a hard Winter and that old halyard/jib-sheet/painter may have seen one season too many ( like a lot of us). It is most likely worth giving them all a thorough going over.  It would not be good form to be on the start line for the first race of the season and the mainsheet decides to part company with the boom!

Saying that don't be ready with a camera when that happens to me. But seriously, we do need to give our dinghies a good going over before racing or even getting them on the water. And don't forget your licence and insurance. Great Sailing,

Tony (The Commodore) Hopkins

It is very important I am told of things that don’t work else I never know and can’t correct them.
