The Cundy Trophy is for a long distance race but unfortunately once we go further afield than our immediate reach sailing conditions tend to be poor unless there is an Easterly or Westerly wind. A date isn't specified for the race but it is held as the pm race on a day when the conditions seem suitable. |

Four boats, Richard Cannon in his Signet, young Peter Sutton in his Streaker, Charles Dennis and Graham Thompson in Graduates pulled well away and did two laps in 90 minutes, the rest did one lap in 60 minutes. |
